Yardbird has been one of those places in Hong Kong that I’ve been meaning to try for the past year and a half. I finally got my chance last week when I was in HK for a quick bit. It was a night I had all to myself without someone telling me where to eat and I quickly took my chance. Mom was dragged along of course because I needed a second opinion.
Little Baguio in San Juan us riddled with what one could consider hole in the wall places. Cafe Sanso is one of these tucked along an unassuming side street. It almost doesn’t look like a cafe from the outside but the inside is as homey as can be. In my opinion, at least. The juxtaposition of a Spanish tapas cafe in a predominantly Chinese area of Manila known for those banquet style meals is ironic but it works somehow.
Well, I root for San Diego sports teams and anyone who follows enough sports knows, there is a San Diego Sports Curse. The City of San Diego aka America’s Finest City has never won and major league sports championship. Ever. EVER. Padres, Chargers, WAKE UP.
Still loyal though
It’s in my honest opinion that Powerplant Mall in Rockwell, Makati doesn’t have the greatest food options.
Sorry, not sorry.
However, in recent years, there are a few gems that have popped up just beyond the mall. Rambla happens to be one of them and I happen to have a weakness for small plates and tasting menus.
