MNL TTD: Crescent Moon Cafe and Studio Pottery

Within a week, Cathy C and I had agreed to do a pottery class and signed up to go to Crescent Moon Cafe and Studio Pottery on a slow Saturday. We hoped that traffic wasn’t so bad because it was already the weekend before Holy Week. We weren’t wrong but we weren’t right either >.>;; So I prepped for the early drive by accidentally sleeping late, not having breakfast, and making sure that my driving playlist was ready. We were good to go and a 14km drive should really not have to take 1.5 hours. #publicinfrastructurewoes We also got lost because it was really my first time going to Antipolo and yea…

Google Maps along with Waze gets confused and gets people lost! The studio is located approximately where the mustache is! (Source: miccadj)

MNL TTD: Les Misérables Manila

From 11 March 2016 to 17 April 2016 Les Misérables (aka Les Mis) will be showing at The Theatre at Solaire for the production’s Asian tour. Tickets went on sale at the end of September last year and I hopped on the presale as soon as I could and got tickets for my parents and I for the evening show of the second day.

MNL Eats: Crying Tiger Street Kitchen

Aside from the flowers, the reverse offspring totally disregarded Valentine’s Day and we treated it like another normal Sunday where we just go about our own business. We (yes, yes, I am THE ever increasingly odd numbered wheel) were wary of eating out because of the crowds so lunch was a simple meal at home. Dinner wasn’t too different, my dad opting to stay home and have fruit while mom and I ventured to Crying Tiger Street Kitchen in Poblacion.

Finally got a photo of the wall art without girlthang over there giving me the evil eye. Don’t worry, I would actually let you know if I was taking a photo of you. (Source: Instagram)

MNL TTD/Eats/Drinks: Brewfest MNL

Pat P told us about Brewfest making a comeback during our last meal together so we decided to check it out. Brewfest aims to promote the growing local craft beer and food scene. Microbreweries have been getting more popular and I can’t really think of any other event that would appropriately have them all under one roof. Pat was also going to be there all 3 days because he’s working on Meathead MNL, a specialty meat supplier focusing on steaks and sausages! What else could go better with an ice cold beer?

If I Had a Heart, I’d Also Leave It Here

Cliché, I know.

The Lawrence Hall of Science holds an especially close place in my heart. The site of so much happiness, heartache, advice dispensing, and receiving new knowledge, it’s hard to not visit whenever I’m in town. Shout out to Brian P and Jacky T for accompanying me!

Probably my favorite view aside from the old Eastern span of the Bay Bridge. Also hard to take a photo without a tripod when it’s windy!
